创立初衷

　　Where we start

　　2009年元月，一个大雪纷飞的日子，我每天开车接送女儿去波士顿一家语言培训中心Advantage Testing学习SSAT。

　　Every heavy-snow day of the coldest January in 2009, I drove my daughter to Boston for learning SSAT in Advantage Testing center.

　　两个月学习下来，令我吃惊的是女儿不但获得了一个理想的分数，学习英语兴趣也明显提高。

　　After two-month learning, amazing is that my daughter not only achieved an ideal score but also became more interested in English learning.

　　Advantage Testing的专业专注、认真负责的办学理念，驱使我拜见了这家公司的老板。

　　Advantage Testing center left me such a deep impression in relation to their professionalism and responsibility that I was prompted to visit its founder.

　　老板Daniel是位哈佛毕业的政治学硕士，已从事SAT，SSAT培训行业二十几年，在美国高端培训领域已小有名气。

　　Daniel, the founder, got Master of Politics from Howard University. About two-decade dedication to teaching SAT and SSAT had built him fame in the American realm of testing teaching.

　　几次愉快的接触后，Daniel终于第一次踏上飞往中国上海的航班。一番考察，他答应在上海开展英语培训方面的合作，愿意将他们先进的教学模式引进中国。这就是澜大教育的前身。

　　A few pleasant conversations made Daniel decide to take his first flight to Shanghai. After some investigation, he agreed to establish a co-operation with respect to test teaching, introducing their mature teaching procedures to Shanghai. It made the predecessor of Landwave.

　　在创办澜大过程中，熟悉和不熟悉我的人经常问我这样一个问题。如何给澜大教育定位?

　　Those who are familiar or less familiar with me often ask me about Landwave: Where is its market position?

　　Landwave aims to be the second mother in the course of children’s growth. All the Landwavers harbor a mother’s heart to treat each of our students as their own child: to care about what they care and to think about what they are thinking. We believe that Landwave can absolutely be molded as a “warm, responsible, honest” educational brand across the century.
