As an international school, we can only recruit students who hold overseas legal birth certificates or passports, or who are allowed to join Dewey with the approval letter from the Shanghai Education Commission.
Applicants must fill in and submit the application form and all relevant documents online, and pay the application fee before they can enter the application material examination stage.
We hope that the students enrolled will contribute to Dewey's academic curriculum. As a selective school, our admission decisions are based on students'past school transcripts and school performance, entrance examinations and other assessment procedures. Children under the age of 7 do not need to take entrance examinations, but we will ask to meet with their children and parents and explain the relevant procedures to their parents in advance.
The enrollment quota of each grade also affects the enrollment decision-making. When the quota is limited, we will give preference to those brothers and sisters who are studying. The admission decisions of other applicants must conform to the language support policy.
