宏文学校初中课程在上海二期课改的基础上,通过对国内课程的夯实及国际化教育元素的融入,加强多学科浸润式双语教学,努力提高学生的双语能力。同时通过兴趣培养和特长优势发展,培养学生成为具有社会贡献力、科学创新力、世界竞争力的国际化人才。
On the basis of the curriculum reform in Shanghai, Hongwen School provides multidisciplinary bilingual teaching and strives to improve students' bilingual competence by consolidating domestic curriculum and integrating international education elements. At the same time, through the development of interests and utilizing advantages, students can be trained to become international talents making social contributions and scientific innovations.
二、课程结构
Curriculum Structure
宏文学校初中课程严格遵循国家义务教育课程标准和本地课程基本要求,在基础性课程落实的同时,开设拓展型、探究型课程。
Junior middle school curriculum in HWS strictly follows the national compulsory standards and the basic requirements of local curriculum. While ensuring the implementation of the basic curriculum, it also offers researching and extensive curricula.

(一)基础型课程 Basic courses
宏文的基础型课程完全按照 《上海市中小学课程改革方案》 的要求执行,各学科课程开足开齐。
Our basic curriculum is fully implemented in accordance with the requirements of the Shanghai Primary and Secondary School Curriculum Reform Program. The curriculum of various subjects are already fully opened.
(二)拓展型课程 Extensive Courses
双语双文化双通道 Bilingual, bicultural and dual-channel
为满足国际化人才的培养,宏文学校实施多学科双语教学,比肩世界教育先进水平。期中,音乐、美术、体育、科学、数学等学科实施双语教学。较终过渡为数理化的双语教学,为学生衔接高中国际课程学习打好基础。
In order to meet the training of international talents, Hongwen School has implemented multidisciplinary bilingual teaching, which is comparable to the advanced level of world education. Bilingual teaching was implemented in music, art, sports, science, mathematics and other subjects. Finally, the transition to bilingual teaching in physics and chemistry lays a good foundation for students to familiarize themselves with international curriculum in senior high school.
英语分层走班 Stratified English classes
宏文学校初中英语课程在以上海版《牛津英语》为主要教材的国家课程基础上,融合英美拓展阅读和线上阅读,根据每个学生不同的英语学习程度及学习兴趣,确定不同的教学目标、教学内容、练习层次、作业要求,实施分层走班制教学。即照顾到英语薄弱学生的接受能力,也注重培养中等以上学生的运用能力,提高全体学生学习英语的积极性,激发潜能,使学生有充分发展的余地,享受到成功的喜悦。
Based on the national curriculum, our English curriculum integrates English and American extended reading and online reading. The different English learning level and interest of each student determines the different teaching objectives, teaching contents, practice levels and homework requirements.
