HISTORY of LVS(LVS中学历史)
LVS Ascot is a private school in Ascot Berkshire and was founded in 1803 in London with just twenty pupils 14 girls and 6 boys. The school caters for pupils aged from 5 years to 18 years. It is located in the Berkshire town of Ascot, close to Windsor with Heathrow airport being less than 25 minutes away. The school today caters for 850 pupils with 200 boarders. The school a wide choice of curriculum at both GCSE and A level with most of our students moving on to Universities in the United Kingdom. The campus was redeveloped in 1989 and is the most modern boarding school in Britain. The boarding section of the school allows students from around the world to join us to study for a range of examinations and students from China, Thailand, Malaysia ,Japan, Russia and Europe are enrolled. We also opportunities to young people to join our cultural immersion course for one term or longer (the academic year is divided into three terms in the UK- September-December, January-March and April to June). This is an opportunity available exclusively to students from Shi Da High School.
The school has also had Royal Patronage since 1836 and HM The Queen is our Patron today.
