　　湖南师范大学英语专业毕业，从教10年，拥有多年国际学校英语教学经验，在教学上融合了中西方教学的优势和特点，擅于发现学生的优点，启发学生的思维。课堂氛围生动活泼，教学方法灵活多变且幽默风趣，深受学生喜爱，教学成果也得到家长的一致认可。

　　My name is Nickolas Hook. I am an American from San Diego, California. I have spent the last 10 years within China teaching ESL. My undergrad major is in English, and I did my graduate work in TESOL. Of the 10 years that I have spent in China, 7 of them have been spent teaching primary level students. I enjoy teaching these students because they are eager to learn, and I am able to channel their boundless energy into more productive tasks by singing, dancing, and creating various activities in English to accomplish. I feel that the foundation is the most important factor in learning any language. I do my best to create not only a solid foundation for my students to start their English journey, but also to cement their desire to continue learning English. I am encouraged to see the progress my students make everyday in both aspects.

　　Nick和周艳老师带来的《colors》，教学模式真正做到了从以教师为中心向以学生为中心的转变，全方位关注每一个孩子，通过丰富的肢体动作或表情，打造了一堂气氛活跃，轻松有趣的英语课。

　　教学主要内容是学习一些有关颜色的单词，词汇部分以实物直观教学为主，通过 Action show，Hiding and seeking ，Magic bottles等方式让孩子在具体的情境中反复练习单词的读音体味学习的乐，较后，通过talk show的形式，让孩子在互动的语境中灵活运用所学句型。
