Entry Requirements
1. 面向全国招收应届初三学生,或等同于9年级毕业水平的学生。
Junior high school students from all over the country, or any students at the same education level as the 9th-grade school leavers.
2. 学生和家长以国外大学为升学目标。
The students and their parents are both aiming to apply for universities overseas.
3. 身心健康,初中学业优良、英语综合能力强,有较强的自主学习能力。
Physically and mentally healthy, the students should be of high academic merit in middle school with a strong comprehensive English competence and autonomy in learning.
收费标准
Tuition and Fees
学费70000元每学期。(餐饮7500元每学期、住宿费3900元每学期、教材、考试费、大型活动等按实际情况收取)
Tuition fees are 70000 RMB per semester. (Catering fees are 7500 RMB per semester, for accommodations are 3900 RMB per semester, and textbooks, test administrations, large scale events are collected accordingly.)

About the School
杭州上海世外中学(简称杭州世外)是世外教育集团继上海世界外国语中学后,在中国开办的第二所IB全系列世外教育集团学校,学校下设双语部初中、融合部初中及IBDP国际高中三大板块。学校以培养“走向世界的现代中国人”为目标,积极探索实践素质教育,培养具有“爱心、优雅、大气”品质的学生,以“积极参与、努力实践”(简称”P&P”)为核心教育理念,并逐步发展至“在参与中学会合作,在实践中学会创新”(简称”C&C”),始终强调发挥学生的主体作用,挖掘学生的潜能,培养学生的合作精神,提高学生的创新能力。
杭州上海世外中学国际高中部IBDP项目成立于2019年,于2021年获得IB官方正式授权,成为杭州首家招收中国籍学生的IBDP学校。
Hangzhou World Foreign Language School (HZWFLS) is the second school established by Shanghai World Foreign Language Education Group (WFL Education) after the Shanghai branch to provide the complete IB curriculum in China. The school features three departments, namely, the Bilingual Junior Department, the Integrated Curriculum Junior Department, and the International Senior Department of IBDP. To aim to cultivate“a young Chinese with a modern and global view,” the school strives to explore and practice quality education to seek and develop the compassion, elegance, and forthright within the students. By Participation and Practice (P&P) in Cooperation and Creativity (C&C), the student's learner autonomy is augmented, potentials developed, abilities in collaboration fostered, and creativity nurtured.
The IBDP of HZWFLS was established in 2019 and was officially authorized by IBO in 2021 to become the first IBDP school in Hangzhou to recruit students of Chinese citizenship.

学校高中部开设IBDP 课程,该课程旨在培养勤学好问、知识渊博、富有爱心的年轻人,他们通过对多元文化的理解和尊重,为开创更美好、更和平的世界贡献力量。
该课程体系包含六大学术领域,它们共同围绕三大核心课程,通过教学与学习方法培养学生成为独立判断的思想者、终身不渝的学习者、全面发展的通才和世界事务的参与者。
该课程没有地域限制,为世界上所有主流大学认可,大学选择范围宽广,能最大程度地避开各国签证政策变化的影响。
The school offers an IBDP course, which aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
The curriculum system consists of six subject groups, which together focus on the three core courses. Through approaches to teaching and learning, the courses train students to become independent thinkers, lifelong learners, well-grounded generalists, and participants in global contexts.
The course has no geographical restrictions and is recognized by all mainstream universities in the world. There is a wide range of universities to choose from, which can avoid the impact of changes in visa policies of various countries to the greatest extent.

All teaching faculty members of HZWFLS are certified by IBO, including established teachers with ample teaching experience as well as excellent Master‘s graduates commanding cutting-edge knowledge of their respective subjects.
This is a team of such diversity as international education should be, comprising teachers from various working backgrounds, such as overseas marketing managers of renowned corporations, artistic creation educators, business interpreters of international corporations, molding project engineers, international volunteers, etc. They are to raise the next generation of open-minded learners and provide the students with professional support along their personal development.
